Water

I can barely type this without laughing. Hubby and I just watched that kid’s show, “Hip Hop Harry” and WOW… too funny.

I like kid shows. Really. They offer a source of entertainment you just don’t get anywhere else. The acting is awful, the songs are terrible, and usually the concepts are cheesy.

I see what they are trying to do with “Hip Hop Harry”, speak to kids “in their language”. I applaud the effort, but this show is just as bad as all the other kids show I’ve seen. The music is catchier though.

Anyway, here’s a video:

Remember, this is but a slice of what this show has to offer…

THING OF THE DAY:

You know? I don’t think I need one.

Now I have that in my head…”If you’re thirsty, grab a cup!” lol. Whatever happened to Mr. Dressup and Sesame Street? I love his “H” emblem though. I feel sorry for the kids in the video. They are going to get beat up.

Sometimes me and my trainer/brosef Alex watch “Drake & Josh” and “Zoey 101″ on Nickelodeon when we work out. I realize that’s sort of weird, but I thought I’d throw that out there to support your point that kids shows are horribly awesome.

Lizzy, agreed. If I had done something like this I’d never tell anyone. The sad part is, I just might set up a series recording on the DVR. I’ll admit I like bad TV, even the bad/cheesy/terribly acted kid shows.

Garrett, I watch “Zoe 101″, too! I tried to give “Drake & Josh” a chance, but meh. I also watch “Degrassi” and “Radio Free Roscoe”… I can’t stop. There’s more where these came from, too.

Was someone on drugs or something when they created that show? Makes you wonder. Since I have two small children I’m subjected to these mind-numbing shows all the time. Although I do try to expose my kids to shows that actually help them think… there are a few. Anyway, that was funny! LOL! Thanks for the post!

Hahaha, glad you liked it. I can’t imagine watching this with my kids; but I’m sure by the time I have them there will be something else awful to watch in place of “Hip-Hop Harry”. This WAS good for a laugh, though.
