The One Where Jillian Actually Does A Meme… Check It Out!

I’ve been tagged with a few memes (does anyone know how to pronounce this?) and I thought I would do one of them now. Yay, right?….. right?

OK.

I’m going to make it a rule not to tag anyone. If I do a meme and you like it and would like to do it as well, by all means do it and let me know so I can read it!

I’m not doing these in any particular order. OK, there is a particular order, but it only makes sense to me.

First up is “Knowing Me Knowing You” or “Getting To Know Me” (which one is it?). I was actually tagged to do this by TWO people: The_Mrs from Ringtailed Squealers and Meleah Rebeccah from Momma Mia, Mea Culpa and Melevision.

WooHoo! You did it! :) :)

I’m likin’ your answer for #3 - I actually laughed loud enough my husband (aka recliner sitter) yelled down, “What the hells so funny?” haha!

    # 5 - You can’t drive a stick? I’ll send my husband right over! He *loves* to teach people how to “feather” the clutch. Grrr… I had to make him get out and sit on the curb until I taught myself. I love the guy, but he’s annoying as hell when it comes to cars and such. Anyway, just find an abandoned parking lot with one good incline and teach yourself. :) That’s the BEST advice I can give you. hahahaha

#31 - lmao…. the combo made me gaffaw again.

I promise I’ll never hit you with this long of a meme (I wonder to how that’s pronounced?) again!

I’m glad you did this though.. because it lets everyone get to know you a little better! :)

  10. Jillian March 5th, 2008 at 1:12 am

LOL… I actually don’t mind getting tagged with memes, it’s just doing them that’s the problem! But I shall tackle them one at a time!

I realize aside from posts and comments… people have no idea who the other is. Unless there is some secret Blogger club I’m not in. In which case, “FINE THEN!” :-P

But yeah, I want people to know who I am and I want to know who they are!

  11. Random Chick March 5th, 2008 at 1:43 pm

Always fun getting to know someone better…as always I laughed at many of your answers, but I can help you out with this one:

    17. What was your favorite toy as a child?
My “My Little Pony” ponies. I loved those things.

My daughter has a million of these and I think they are planning a take-over of my house. I’ve put these things away more times than I can count, and they keep getting out!! I know they are plotting against me…those damn “My Little Ponies” with their rainbow manes and sparkly eyes…before they do that, maybe I can send some to you???

  12. Jillian March 5th, 2008 at 9:30 pm

Random Chick- LOL.. only if they are still in mint condition. I will not have my memories tainted by the less than stellar realities! :-DD

  13. Twisted Teenager March 6th, 2008 at 6:56 am

Bakery aisle - did you know that they put chemicals in some bread to make them smell freshly baked? I don’t care though - if it smells good…
You liked Hot Fuzz? Glad you got the humour, seeing as there’s this stupid myth that American people don’t get British humour, which is the reason for The Office in America.

  14. Jillian March 6th, 2008 at 8:01 am

Twisted Teenager- I did not know about them putting chemicals in the bread to make it smell good. I think you’re right though: as long as it still tastes good. And I’ll add: doesn’t kill me or make me sick! :-D

Hell yeah, “Hot Fuzz” was our movie of the year when it came out. It’s great.

I LOVE the British [original] version of “The Office”. We own it on DVD. As far as the American version goes, I think it’s funny as well but in a totally different way. I guess The Powers That Be think Americans need the humor to be SUPER obvious before we can get it. Oh well.
